Description
Crafted from galvanised steel this iconic chair was created for Tolix in 1934 from Xavier Pauchard and was widely used in bistros, bars, hospitals and schools as a staple piece. More recently the Tolix chair has seen a huge rise in popularity as people have come to realise how just how useful this robust and strong furniture can really be.
Full of character
Our replica galvanised Tolix chair stays true to the original design with its strong metal frame, high back, and gently spayed legs which gives a strong and well constructed chair. Showing marks from the grinder, it’s oozing with character. The addition of the oiled ash timber seat makes it look more stylish and ties in the look when using it with timber tables. Place it outside on your terrace, set your dining table for guests, or use your replica Tolix timber seat chair inside your café, restaurant or bistro, and it will easily work for you. This superb chair in its natural galvanised condition complete with its ash timber seat is a chair that works well in any style space depending on what you put with it.
Please note that these stools have an industrial finish – grinder marks are present. This is all part of the galvanised look, and does not affect the stool in any other way. Please inspect images closely before purchasing.
